Outlook
Hope everyone is pumped for July. Here in Pinedale it is a special time. The rivers are in good shape, the hatches are plentiful, and there are some great community events coming up. After some chilly, wet weather that slowed things down a bit last week, it looks like we are in for some increasingly warmer summer weather that should be pretty good for bug activity. Water is on the drop and should be in pretty good shape for the next little while. Here in the shop, we have been stocking up on sun protection and wet wade apparel, so swing by and get geared up for the hot, bright days ahead.

Recent Reports
Green River
Flows on the upper sections of the Green are dropping pretty quick, making wading access better by the day. The upper sections have had a good variety of hatches, so make sure you have stones, drakes, PMDs, and caddis with you to match the hatch. In the lower sections we are seeing fish key on Golden Stones and Gray Drakes. Look for fish sitting in protected water near cut banks and pocket water. We have also had success streamer fishing early in the day before the hatches get going.

Flies to try
Paradrake, Rolling Stone, Circus Peanut
New Fork River
The New Fork is in good shape right now. We saw a bump in flows from the precipitation last week, but the clarity has improved in the last couple days and the fish have been active. Big bugs along the banks have been producing really well. The upper sections have seen better hatches of Gray Drakes. As the flows drop, look for those fish to move off the banks and into the riffles. Early morning streamers have produced some fish too.

Chubby Chernobyl, Smoke Jumper, Boogieman
Seedskadee
Flows have remained low below Fontenelle Dam, but fishing has still been productive. Big foam bugs, caddis, and PMDs are all good options for topwater fishing. Nymphing with sow bugs and mayfly nymphs has still been productive too.

Flies to try
Sparkle Dun, Super Beetle, Ray Charles
