Outlook
Summer is here, and we are knocking on the doorstep of some really good fishing. Last week we experienced runoff conditions with flows bumping up and water getting blown out in a lot of areas. The past few days, we have seen flows creep down and water clarity improve. With some hot days in the forecast for this weekend, we expect another slight bump in flows, then flows to level out a bit next week. Hopefully, clarity will continue to improve, and fish will start looking up more and more. We have had a few fish come up and swipe at big dries already, and we hope that the dry fly fishing will start to get good over the next couple of weeks. Here in the shop, we have good stock of stonefly and drake dries, so swing by and stock up before we get wiped out. If you were thinking of booking a trip during peak dry fly season, we have very little availability left, but we do still have some good availability for the week of the 15th, which may turn out to be good for some early season dry fly fishing.

Recent Reports
Green River
Fishing on the Green has started to pick up. Flows have come down quite a bit from their peak, and clarity is getting pretty good. The upper sections are currently below 1,000 CFS and in decent wading condition. Below Daniel, the water is still a bit dirty but fishable. Stonefly nymphs, worms, and streamers have been working the best with the occasional eat on a Salmonfly or Chubby. Look for fish sitting in areas with lower flow such as pocket water and buckets.

Flies to try
Depth Charge, Boogieman, 20 Incher
New Fork River
The New Fork is on the drop and should start to fish decent here soon. Clarity has improved on the upper sections, and fishing should continue to improve. Below the East Fork has been really dirty, but the water level has dropped a lot in the last couple of days, so that should start to fish pretty soon too.
CFS
Flies to try
Rubberlegs, Sparkle Worm, Peanut Envy
Seedskadee
The water below Fontenelle is a little low but steady. Fishing has been pretty good with some dry fly fishing already happening. Fish have been looking up for cicadas and caddis. Nymphing with scuds and sow bugs is still working well too. Streamer fishing is good when there is some cloud cover. Look for fish to move towards the riffles in these low water conditions as the daytime highs start to creep up.

Flies to try
Tailwater Sow, Two Bit Hooker, Sparkle Minnow
