Pat

Guide

Originally from Charlottesville, VA, Pat’s career in guiding began in 2007, when he answered a newspaper ad while a college student at Montana State University. Becoming a whitewater guide on the Yellowstone River that summer changed the trajectory of his life and opened doors that he never could have imagined. Fueled by his love of new experiences and working outdoors, Pat’s eclectic guiding resume includes pack trips in Montana’s Bob Marshall Wilderness, whitewater fishing on the Middle Fork of the Salmon, multi-species fishing expeditions in Alaska’s Togiak National Wildlife Refuge, and heli-skiing the Ruby Mountains of Nevada. When Pat’s not enjoying the rivers, mountains, and small town living of Pinedale, you can find him camping on the Smith River in Montana, ski patrolling at Utah’s Alta Ski Area, or trying to find the best local food wherever his travels take him.
