NOTICE: AVOID REDDS AND SPAWNING FISH
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, I have taken some time to reflect on what I have to be thankful for this year, and there is a lot. I am thankful to be a part of the amazing community here in Pinedale and at Two Rivers Fishing Co, and of course, I am thankful for big trout that continue to munch flies. While the temperature seems to be steadily decreasing, the fishing has stayed pretty steady. Fishing slow and deep is the name of the game and will be the best tactic through the winter. Getting heavy streamers deep and dredging the bottom with nymphs have both produced some nice fish recently. At the shop, we have had some exciting things happening recently. First, thanks to everyone who has turned out for the fly tying nights. They have been so much fun and have given the shop a real lively buzz. Second, we will have some great deals here in the shop on Black Friday, so swing by and stock up on the fly fishing gear we all really want for Christmas. Finally, we are really excited to announce our new online shop! We are so happy to now offer our great selection on our website at tworiversfishing.com/shop/. We will be closed on November 27th for Thanksgiving and will return to normal winter hours on Friday, November 28th. We hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving and thank you so much for all your support.

Green River
The Green has been fishing a little slower lately. Areas with a steeper grade seem to be holding less fish as fish look for water that does not require as much energy to hold in. Nymphs down deep and small heavy streamers have worked the best in deep slow areas. We are still finding some nice fish holding in areas with structure where they can get out of the current.

Flies to try
Batman, Jig Retriever, Spanish Bullet
New Fork River
The New Fork is still fishing well with both nymphs and streamers. There has been some midge activity to get fish going, and some big fish are still aggressive on streamers. If you are wading around, there are a lot of redds in the shallows, especially in the upper sections around town, so try to avoid walking through them. Deeper holes where riffles drop into buckets have been good areas to target with nymphs. Stripping streamers is still working well around structure, along eddies, and in deep holes. Make sure you get those streamers deep. Fishing heavy streamers with barbell eyes and a sink line has been effective.

Seedskadee
Below Fontenelle Dam is where we have had some of our best fishing recently, and is likely where much of our fishing focus will be in the coming weeks. We have continued to see really good midge activity, and had some nice fish on crayfish patterns and streamers. We have found fish in deeper, slower water, but many fish are still actively feeding in moving water in tailouts and along seams.
