Outlook
Runoff is now underway, but that does not mean fishing has come to a halt. In fact, fish are ready to gorge themselves on one of the first big meals of the year. During the flush, loads of worms are getting pulled into the water and the fish will be feeding heavily on them while supplies last. At the shop, we still have a good supply of worm patterns, and we also brought in some cool new drake and foam patterns, so swing by and load up before the fishing really heats up. If you are thinking about booking a trip for this summer, our guide availability is starting to become limited, so reach out soon to get a trip on the books.

Recent Reports
Green River
The Green has been steadily rising for the last week, and with more warm days on the horizon, flows will likely continue to climb steadily. Conditions are better the farther upriver you go but wading is likely to be difficult in most places. Big, flashy bugs are going to be the best bet. Look for fish in the soft water along edges, steep banks, and behind points or structure.

Flies to try
Depth Charge Worm, Mongrel Meat, Rubber Legs
New Fork River
Everything below Pole Creek is extremely high and dirty, but above Pole Creek is still fishable. The upper river remains pretty low with good visibility. From town down, the water is high and a bit dirty, but still worth a shot. Like on the Green, big, flashy bugs are the way to go right now. On the upper sections, some fish will likely continue to sit in the slower runs but also look for fish to sit on the seams along steep banks and in the deeper holes.

Flies to try
20 Incher, Sparkle Minnow, Sparkle Worm
Seedskadee
Conditions are good below Fontenelle Dam and we have been finding both good numbers of fish and some quality fish. Streamers and scuds have been working best, but adult insect activity has been good, so fishing topwater is definitely worth a shot. We have seen good numbers of BWO as well as some caddis. Fishing larger foam bugs with a dropper has also been producing some fish. Also, keep an eye out for PMDs starting to move around.

Flies to try
Flyweight Scud, Spanish Bullet, Micro Dungeon
