Outlook
We are firing on all cylinders right now. Water is in good shape, flows are starting to drop, and hatches have made their way up the river. Dry fly fishing has been good, but it looks like we may be in for a wet weekend, so we may get a couple solid streamer days. We have had a lot of questions recently about dry fly fishing when you are not seeing any risers. Remember that just because you may not be seeing pods of fish actively feeding does not mean they are not looking up. This time of year, fish will take advantage of a bug on the surface given the opportunity. Here in the shop, we still have decent stock of our best dry fly patterns, but they are going fast, so swing in and stock up.

Recent Reports
Green River
The Green is in excellent shape and fishing well. The upper sections are still flowing a bit fast, but wade fishing is definitely doable. In the upper sections, we are seeing a variety of stones, mayflies, and caddis, including Yellow Sallies and PMDs. Lower on the river, Salmonflies and Golden Stones are still working good with some Gray Drakes here and there.

Flies to try
Sleezy Rider, X-Caddis, Film Critic
New Fork River
The New Fork still has a decent amount of water in it and has been fishing good too. The upper sections seem to have a few more drakes than the lower sections. Below the East Fork, Golden Stones have been working well. Try giving those stones a little twitch while you're drifting them.

Flies to try
Fools Gold, Carnage Drake, Peanut Envy
Seedskadee
Water has been low below Fontenelle, but fishing has still been decent. It has been a great cicada year down there with some big fish looking up. Caddis have been good down there too, and we should be seeing some PMDs as well. Nymphing with a sow bug and a small mayfly nymph has produced a lot of fish, and the crayfish activity should be getting going too.
