Outlook
The moment we have all been waiting for is finally upon us. The fishing has been good lately. I'm talking like call-in-sick-to-work good. Dry fly action has been everything we could hope for, and that little cold snap we got didn't seem to put too much of a damper on the fun. Flows have been dropping, but conditions are good, and we have seen a wide variety of bugs flying around. At the shop, flies are evaporating off the table, so if you need to refresh your box, do it quickly before flies become scarce. We have really been looking forward to this season, and we hope everyone has a lot of fun. We sure will.
Rivers
Never miss a fishing report.
Recent Reports
Green River
Conditions have been good on the Green. Top water activity has been a little slower on the upper river, but nymphs and streamers have still been producing fish. Below Warren Bridge, the dry fly fishing has been good, but the bite has been starting later in the morning, so streamers are still a good option for the first part of the morning. We have been seeing Golden Stones, Salmon Flies, Drakes, Yellow Sallies, PMDs, and caddis, so there are plenty of opportunities if you have a preference for the type of dry fly pattern you use.

Flies to try
Goldie, Chubby, San Juan Worm
New Fork River
We have got a lot of questions about which river is fishing better. Well, it's six in one hand, half a dozen in the other right now. The New Fork is fishing very similar to the Green. The upper sections of the New Fork are getting skinny and seeing a bit of pressure, but the dry fly activity has been decent. The lower sections of the river are in good shape and fishing well. Like on the Green, there has been a nice variety of insect activity. Stones have still been the primary target, but Drake activity is increasing, and there are PMDs and Caddis if you like to throw a smaller bug or a second dry.

Flies to try
F.K.A.P, Water Walker, Catnip
Seedskadee
Flows have been holding steady below Fontenelle, and the fishing continues to be good. Scuds and streamers continue to produce fish, but there has been some topwater action to be had, too. PMDs and big foam are starting to attract fish. Look for fish sitting in shallower riffles and along current seams.

Flies to try
Circus Peanut, Flyweight Scud, Frozen Fox
