Outlook
Fishing has still been really good, with the majority of fish being caught on dries. There are all kinds of bugs flying around right now. This past week, we have seen drakes, PMDs, yellow sallies, golden stones, salmon flies, and caddis. We have been fishing a wide variety of dry fly patterns, and many have been producing fish. If you find that actively feeding fish are refusing your fly, try downsizing, going to an emerger, or switching to one of the smaller bugs that are flying around. When the day gets warm and bright, adding a dropper has been producing fish. As we start to see more days with highs in the 80s, keep an eye on water temperatures in the afternoons. Getting on the water earlier and ending the day before the peak heat hits will still be very productive and help keep the fish happy and healthy. Swing by the shop and check out our great selection of sun protection apparel so that you don't get overexposed during these long, warm days of summer.

Recent Reports
Green River
The Green has been fishing well throughout the system. Drakes have started to hatch above the forest boundary, and fish are looking up. Stones and drakes have both been good through the mid and lower sections of the river. Targeting deep cut banks is still working well, but look for fish that have moved off the shallower banks as the flows drop.

New Fork River
The New Fork has been fishing well in the mid and lower sections. Stones, drakes, and PMDs have all been working. Stones and drakes have been working equally well, so try running a two-dry setup. If you come across pods of fish that don't seem to be feeding on the larger bugs, try emergers and PMDs. Watch for fish sitting along the seams where the bank drops off into the main channel of the river.

Seedskadee
The flows have dropped a bit more below Fontenelle Dam, which means we will start to see an increase in moss down there for the foreseeable future, but the fishing has still been good. Fish are still actively feeding subsurface on scuds, crayfish, caddis and mayfly nymphs, but topwater is producing fish as well. Fishing a streamer early—and big foam with a dropper once it warms up a bit—is a good combination right now.
