Outlook
The warm, sunny days are making us long for the cloudy days of spring, but upon reflection, we will take our extended drake hatch over rain. Fish are most active during the morning and during sporadic cloud cover throughout the day, but the drakes are still out for a significant portion of the day. In addition to large mayflies and stones, small terrestrials have begun to fish well.

Recent Reports
Green River
The Green is still fishing quite well across most sections, but most notably near Warren Bridge and further upstream. The water coming out of the mountains is still cold, but these warm days have rendered the upper reaches of the Green habitable and productive for larger insects. We have begun to see golden stones and drakes mixed in with the caddis that have been hatching for weeks on the upper Green.
CFS
Flies to try
On-Point Para Wulff, DW Caddis, Micro Royale w/Cheese
New Fork River
With less pressure on the sections near Boulder, the fishing has really picked up for our guides, especially in the morning. The blue-bird skies make for some spooky fish, so take advantage of low light when and where you can get it. The drakes haven’t slowed down much, but small terrestrials like beetles and ants have begun to fish well on the banks.
CFS
Flies to try
Green River Flying Ant, Super Beetle, Parachute Hare’s Ear
Seedskadee
The Green is down and fishable and fishing well! We still haven’t seen any of the usual algae bloom yet, so use that to your advantage. Most of the action is coming from nymphs and streamers, but there are reports of golden stones and PMDs.
CFS
Flies to try
San Juan Worm, Chubby Chernobyl, Midweight Scud
Bighorn River
Word on the street is that the bighorn is slated to drop significantly within this week. Now it is still very high but will likely be fishing very soon. Streamer fishing is still our recommendation to get deep to those aggressive bottom-dwellers.
CFS
Flies to try
Mod-Maiden, Pheasant Bugger, Zoo Cougar
