Outlook
Well, I don't know if I can say that I have been catching more fish lately, but I can say with confidence that I have been catching fish in more places. Fish are starting to move from that winter-holding water into water with more flow and seem to be feeding more actively and aggressively. More fish are beginning to sit near the head of the riffles especially on the transitions where riffles drop into those deeper buckets. We have seen a lot of BWOs, midges, and little black stones around, so have a variety of bugs with you to match what you see crawling and flying around. If you're streamer fishing, try to keep those flies as deep as possible along the slow seams. Stop by the shop and check out our selection of sink tips that are perfect for getting those streamers down to the fish. 'Looks like some really nice weather this weekend, so get out there and have some fun.

Recent Reports
Green River
The Warren Bridge access is mostly free of snow. Access all the way up to 9 & 10 is good, with little snow left on the road. There is still some snow covering the road just above 9 & 10. Snowmelt from the warmer weather has made the water off-color at Warren Bridge. The Green is in good condition down around Daniel, and fish have been active on streamers. As the water warms up, stonefly nymphs are becoming more active and small stone patterns have been producing fish.

New Fork River
The New Fork is in good shape and running pretty clear, even down lower. Midge and BWO hatches have been good, but risers are still few and far between. Fishing a midge or BWO nymphs under an attractor such as a worm or stone has been productive. Streamer fishing has been good, especially when running streamers down deep. Some really nice fish have been caught on streamers throughout the system.

Seedskadee
Flows below Fontenelle Dam have continued to come up, but conditions have remained pretty consistent. Midges, scuds, sow bugs, and BWOs are all going to be good options right now. With the increased flows and the upcoming warm weather, we are going to have lots of bugs tumbling around in the water and happy fish ready to eat. Please remember to stay away from redds and actively spawning fish.
