Outlook
Welcome to the 2025 season. Two Rivers Fishing Co. is now open daily, and there has been a lot of buzz around the shop about early-season fishing. Swing by and stock up on some fresh flies and gear. There is a decent amount of water to choose from, and we have found some really nice fish eager to eat. Remember to keep an eye out for and avoid redds and actively spawning Cutthroat and Rainbows.

Recent Reports
Green River
The Green River at Warren Bridge has some open water but still has quite a bit of ice on it. There is more open water farther downstream near La Barge, but the warm weather and snow melt have made the water pretty dirty.

Flies to try
Pat’s Rubberlegs, Mini Dungeon, and Jig Worm
New Fork River
The New Fork is largely free of ice and has been productive. The recent warm weather and snow melt has turned the water off color but still fishable. While the water is dirty, try fishing bigger bugs like stones, worms, and streamers. As the water clarity improves, try some smaller mayfly nymph imitations. Most fish are still holding in winter water, so focus on tailouts and deeper pools.

Flies to try
Sparkle Worm, Krystal Bugger Jig, Spanish Bullet
Seedskadee
Fishing has been good below Fontenelle with some with some big fish being caught. A lot of fish are being caught on small nymphs like midges and sow bugs, but some large fish are starting to chase streamers too. Some fish are being found in the riffles, but be sure to give the tailouts and pocket water adequate attention. The weather looks decent this weekend, and it's a great time to get out and get shots at some quality fish.

Flies to try
HH Sow Bug, Sparkle Minnow, Zebra Midge
