Here is a look back at our 2019 season!  Our guides and clients had a great season with lots of fish and laughs on the river!  Our 2020 season is looking to be another great one. We have above average snow pack in the mountains currently, so this will be 4 years in a row of solid water for our rivers-you won’t want to miss the 2020 season.  Our guided fishing season will kick off as soon as the ice breaks free on the New Fork and Green rivers. Based on the past years’ runoffs, we anticipate the first 2 weeks of June will bring the biggest flush of water, however we do offer walk wades on private leased waters, and we can always fish above the muddy water and below the Fontenelle dam, so don’t write off the runoff season-it can still be dynamite!

Two Rivers Fishing Company is the only local full-service fly shop and guide service in Pinedale, Wyoming. Our local rivers (the Green and New Fork) offer some of the best fishing in Wyoming! With walk-wade trips on private creeks, ponds and lakes, half- or full-day float trips, fly fishing lessons, backcountry fishing trips into the legendary Wind River Range, as well as custom fishing trips to fit specific plans you may have, we are the proven authority on fishing the Green River valley. Our fully-stocked fly shop has you covered if you are in the area. We have thousands of flies, a wide selection of rods, hats, sunglasses, jackets, waders, reels, etc. Stop in!

Private Water:  If you’re looking for some private water to fish, the guides at TRFC can take care of you.  We have something for everyone with our large selection of private water options.  We only allow many of these leases to be fished once or twice a week, so book early if you’re looking to spend a day on some of the finest exclusive water in Wyoming.  All these accesses are highly managed to offer an under-pressured fishing opportunity – so spots are limited!

Green River

The Green River is frozen and will most likely stay that way until at least April.  We usually start to see some open water late March or early April, but spring is never a sure thing around here. Seedskadee opens for guiding on April 1st and this section is open and fishable then.  Fishing on the lower Green River (Below Fontenelle Dam) can be very rewarding in the early season.  We see some small dry fly action start to pick up, and streamers work well too.  The basic tailwater bugs under a bobber work great as well.

New Fork

The river is still iced over, but we tend to see this river open up before the Green each year.  Sometime in March we start to put boats on the river and we begin catching some nice hungry browns.  If you’re looking to book a early season trip and like tossing streamers give us a call and we can contact you as soon as the river is ready to fish this spring!

Seedskadee:  Early Season Open Water!!  We can start guiding/fishing this river April 1st

Working under Wind River Troutfitters, LLC, TRFC offers guided float trips on this fishery. We currently have 2 guides that are permitted to run this section, so call us up and we can get you out there. The fishing has been good under an indicator with scuds, sow bugs, worms, and hot bead nymphs.

Soda Lake

Soda Lake is currently closed and iced over. We had a slower season fishing out there as the winter kill from 2018 took a toll on the brown trout.  According to our local Game and Fish, the brook trout numbers were healthy on the fall fish counts.  We did not have the bad algae bloom this past summer, so we should see an improvement in the fish making it through the winter.  Once this lake opens up, we will post regular updates.
