Green River

The Green River is slowly starting to break free near Daniel bridge.  It is float-able on certain sections and changing daily, so call the shop for the latest info.  Our weather report looks to be cold for the next few days and the Wyoming wind just won’t stop.  There are a few wading opportunities in the county, and many of the tributaries to the Green are opening up and running clear.  Be on the look-out for up-to-date info on the floating situation of the Green.  We will be taking our first client of the year out this week so check back for a fishing report from the trip!

New Fork River

This river is open and floatable below the airport access.  Many people have started walk/wading the airport section, and only a few boats have made it out so far.  We had some guide-staff float a section last week and they had a blast.  Some big browns and streamer fishing in March is our version of March Madness.  Call the shop for some up-to-date info on the complete river system.  Right now the water is a little off-color but not enough to mess up the day.  Spring season on this river is just starting and will last until run-off.

Access Issues and Closures

Many access spots are open to walk/wade and drift boat access.  There are a few tight spots still left in the county so call or stop by the shop if you’re planning a trip.  The Warren Bridge area is still not open, the upper Green is closed, and town down to the airport access is not open enough for a safe float trip on the New Fork.

Stay tuned for more information. We will be posting frequent updates as the season progresses. You’ll read it here first. Get in on these prime Green River and New Fork River conditions. Book your fishing trip today!
